The Unusual Suspects Spring Alumni Program brings students from across LAUSD together twice a week to learn theatre games, collaborate on original screen work, and develop performance skills for the digital age. Spring Alumni participants are just starting to get into the heart of what they want to work on, developing ideas for scenes to be written and rehearsed later this spring.

Shown to help students build valuable teamwork, communication, and socialization skills, The Unusual Suspects Theatre Company’s Voices for Arts & Social Theatre Enrichment Program (VAST) provides in-class, standards-based residencies, where two Unusual Suspects teaching artists to work alongside the classroom teacher to guide students in small groups as they collaborate to create & perform short theatre pieces.
This Spring, The Unusual Suspects Theatre Company has three VAST Enrichment Programs running at Jordan High School, Markham Middle School, and Sepulveda Middle School.
